DeLillo Pastry Shop, a mainstay in the Belmont section for over 80 years, continues to be popular. It has all the Italian goodies that one would expect, and their custard-filled babas are famous.
This pastry shop has ample room to sit down with a cappuccino or an expreso and enjoy your pastry over conversation. Open seven days a week, DeLillo's has long been a favorite destination in the Belmont section.
In 1925 Italian immigrants Rocco and Joe DeLillo started the business. Many years later, their faithful employee Luigi Florio was offered a partnership in the business which soon turned into ownership. Luigi invited his brother Sal into the business. Today, Sal and Emanuela's three children - Giuseppina, Anthony and Sal, Jr. - operate DeLillo Pastry Shop.
One only has to surf their website to see their high quality cakes, pastries and cookies.
After so many years, DeLillo Pastry Shop continues to be a well-known destination for people in the Fordham community to relax over a coffee and have a pastry.
